WHAT
Baccarat is a 50/50 game where players bet one two teams for who will score the highest in a round; Player and Banker. There is very little interaction in Baccarat that affects the outcome of the match. Unlike Blackjack, for example, there is no “hit” or other actions. Once bets are locked in, the rounds play out automatically for the two teams based on a set of rules. At the end of the round, players are paid based on if the Player or Banker team had a higher hand score, or a tie.
Specifically, Vegas Infinite has “Squeeze Baccarat.” In this version of baccarat, players are given the cards to reveal them instead of the dealer.

TERMS
- Player
- In the case of baccarat, it refers to one of the two teams that can be bet on to win. It has no actual connection to the player, though it is intended to represent them.
- Banker
- In the case of baccarat, it refers to one of the two teams that can be bet on to win. It is intended to represent the dealer or the house.
- Tile
- A small plaque like objection. There are two, one to each represent Player and Banker. It is given to the player with the highest bet on the respective team to show who will squeeze the cards for that team.
- Squeeze
- The act of bending and manipulating a card to reveal the face. Cards are dealt face down to each side, then handed to the tile owning player to be “squeezed.” Once squeezing is complete it is returned to its position by the dealer.
- Peel
- A method of squeezing where players peel the edge of cards to see a small piece of the face at a time.
- Slide
- A method of squeezing where players place another card face down on top of the card to be revealed, which is laid face up underneath. The top card is then slid around on the surface of the other to reveal pieces of the bottom card.
- Flipping
- A method of squeezing where players turn the card over from fade down to face up, quickly revealing the card.
- Natural
- When the first two cards of a hand have a total score of 8 or 9. Since 9 is the highest score, these hands typically automatically stand and do not draw a third card in most cases.
- Road
- A grid of markers shown on the backboard of a Baccarat game. A road displays the outcomes of previous rounds like a history, but in such a way the information shows trends and patterns. This can be used by players to predict the next outcome. There are five main roads displayed on our board.
- Dragon Tail
- Back to back wins by one of the two teams add markers to the road vertically down, in the same column. If the markers extend past the bottom of the board, instead of going off the bottom of the screen, the markers will start populating to the right into the next columns at the bottom. This is called a dragon tail and generally denotes a “hot” table given the win streak occurring of one of the teams.
HOW
Ignoring side bets, players will place bets on one of three bets, Player, Banker, or Tie, attempting to predict the winner of the round.
Once all bets are locked in, two cards will be dealt face down to each the Player and the Banker. Back and forth one at a time, the face down cards are handed to the selected squeezers at the table to reveal the value of the cards. Once revealed, they return to their positions by the dealer.
Based on the value total of the first two cards, the Player and Banker may, based on a set of drawing rules, draw one additional card each. The new cards are squeezed.
Finally, based on the totals, whichever player is closest to a total score of 9 wins, and players who bet on that team will be paid.
Card Values and Scoring
Total scores only go from 0 to 9. If a hand value surpasses 9, the score repeats back to 0. For example, if a player has a Five and a Six, the total would be 11. The would go back down to 1. The easier way is to minus 10 each time it surpasses 9.
- Aces are worth 1.
- Number cards are worth their face value in score, except 10.
- 10 and court cards are worth 0.
